I had the honor and privilege of spending a few hours on my home water this morning with one
Tom Rosenbauer. A humbling experience to be sure, as Tom's
Orvis Fly Fishing Guide was one of the first books I picked up when I came to the sport. I remember paging frantically through
Prospecting for Trout at the fly shop in Victor, ID after a couple of tough days on the South Fork. Tom has been a mentor to countless fly fishers over the years and I am just one name among many on that list. While the fishing was a bit slow, it was a beautiful morning on the river and one that I won’t soon forget.
Thanks Tom, it was a pleasure and I hope we can do it again soon!
beautiful shots. not a bad way to spend the morning.
